Objective: To help students practice observing thoughts without judgment by using the sky and clouds as a calming metaphor.
Instructions:
1. Choose a quiet moment—look out of a window or go outside.
2. Gaze at the sky and notice its color and openness.
3. Observe the clouds as they move, change shape, and fade away.
4. Imagine the sky is your mind and the clouds are your thoughts.
5. Watch them come and go without expectations or trying to control them—just notice and let them pass.
6. Stay with this for a few breaths before continuing your day.
Optional Reflection:
1. How did it feel to watch the clouds without trying to change them?
2. Did this make it easier to notice your thoughts without judgment?
3. How does your mind feel now compared to before?
