Objective: To practice mindfulness by observing nature and noticing details that often go unnoticed, fostering calm and present-moment awareness.
Instructions:
1. Pause for a moment and look at a tree, plant, or the sky.
2. Notice its colors, shapes, and textures.
3. Pay attention to small details—shades, patterns, movement of leaves, or clouds drifting.
4. If your mind wanders, gently bring it back to what you see.
5. Stay with this observation for a few breaths before moving on.
Optional Reflection:
1. What colors or shapes stood out to you?
2. Did you notice anything new that you hadn’t seen before?
3. How did focusing on nature make you feel?
4. Was it easy or hard to keep your attention on what you were observing?
5. Would you like to try this again in a different place?
