1. Project Management

Masaryk University will be responsible for managing the project, coordination and information sharing. Frequent monitoring reports and digital meetings will ensure seamless project execution.

2. MBI Toolkit and Mobile App for Teachers and Students

The aim of this activity is to provide primary school teachers and school support staff with access to a customised Mindfulness-Based Intervention (MBI) Toolkit, which will encompass MBI curriculum, lesson plans, audio- and video-recordings related to MBI practices and a personalisation assessment tool for MBI practices.

An MBI mobile application will also be developed, which will be equipped with MBI practices that are expected to contribute to the mental health, resilience and burnout prevention of teachers and school support staff. These tools are explicitly designed and adapted for effective use with students, aiming to enhance their social and emotional well- being and resilience.

3. Training the Teachers and Trainers on the MBI Toolkit and Mobile App

The aim of this activity is to train and equip primary school teachers (ISCED2) and school support staff with adept skills in the use of MBI Toolkit and Mobile App. The seamless integration of MBI practices into teaching strategies will create an environment that supports the resilience and well-being of students in different subjects, as well as the resilience and well-being of teachers and support staff, which will have a positive impact on their professional and personal lives.

The empowered educators will then be able to train their peers, thereby promoting the wider dissemination and sustainability of MBI practices in school settings. In addition, an International Training Component will be implemented online for participants to share experiences, promoting cross-cultural learning and the sharing of best practices.

4. Action Research of Putting the MBI Toolkit into Practice in Schools

The aim of this activity is to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of MBI practices on students. A comprehensive evaluation analysis summarising the findings from both quantitative and qualitative data will serve as a vital document, offering insights into MBI impact and potential advancements in educational settings.

These outcomes collectively contribute to understanding the efficacy, challenges, and potential improvements related to MBI practices in schools.

5. Dissemination and Communication Activities

The aim is to organise various promotional activities, including local multiplier events in each participating country. The project partners will also establish and maintain a project website and will ensure a social media presence to share project outcomes and engage stakeholders.
